BE-M0-01 · Preflight: tool versions
ID BE-M0-01 · Level L0 · Run order row 1
The tool versions on your Mac are known, so the skeleton (BE-M0-03) can pin them and the local stack (BE-M0-05) can run.
Before
Section titled “Before”- Docker Desktop is running. Any terminal, any folder: nothing is written.
1 · Node, pnpm and git
Section titled “1 · Node, pnpm and git”node -p "process.version + ' ' + process.platform + ' ' + process.arch"pnpm --versiongit --version2 · The Docker engine
Section titled “2 · The Docker engine”docker info --format "{{.ServerVersion}} cpus={{.NCPU}} mem={{.MemTotal}}"3 · Python and psql
Section titled “3 · Python and psql”python3 --versionpsql --versionExpect
Section titled “Expect”- Block 1: a version line with an even major (an LTS line), then pnpm 10 or newer, then git 2.x.
- Block 2: one line with the engine version,
cpus=andmem=(in bytes), and no “Cannot connect to the Docker daemon”. - Block 3: Python 3.x. psql may print a version or “command not found”; both are fine.
Paste the output of all three blocks; BE reads it before writing the next step.
If it fails
Section titled “If it fails”- “command not found” for node, pnpm or git: stop and paste it. Installing a tool is a step of its own.
- “Cannot connect to the Docker daemon”: start Docker Desktop, wait until it shows as running, and run block 2 again.
- Node shows an odd major (v25, v27): paste it; the repo pins an LTS line.
Nothing to undo: every command only prints a version.
2026-10-05 · zuki · clean · Node v26.7.0 darwin arm64 (an even major, Current until it becomes LTS on 28 October 2026); pnpm 12.8.1; git 2.56.0; Docker 29.8.1 with 8 CPUs and 3.8 GiB; Python 3.14.7; no psql, which no step needs.
